War is an environmentally disastrous device for problem solving and is maintained by socially unjust paradigms. I mean isn't patriotism a funky, outdated divider used to rally the "us" against the designated "them," part of the jargon of manufactured consent used when convenient for the benefit of the few who are not in the line of fire?
